Hi, I'm just responding to your answer to my question (about Bonnie's wings) on a previous post...
No wonder I didn't remember. Is there any particular reason that her choice remains secret? Just wondering.
I also mentioned earlier that I was going to start Song of the Ovulum, which I did yesterday. I'm only four chapters in, but already I'm loving it! Thanks so much for starting a new series, Mr. Davis!!
I can't tell what happened to Bonnie, because I don't know.
I personally think that she kept her wings because at the end of DioM she seemed content with them and no longer viewed them as a curse, at least that’s what I remember. It’s been a few months since my last read through.
I believe she kept her wings. After all, she kept her eloquence. Remember, she wrote an eloquent letter to the farmer while hiding in the caves in Last of the Nephilum? While it is possible that not all of her eloquence was due to her anthrozil status... I like to think she kept her wings, and this provides the perfect justification; at least in my own mind. ;)
If I had wings I definitely wouldn't give them up, no matter how freakish everyone thought I looked and even if no one on Earth liked me or loved me I still wouldn't give them up. I only wish I did have wings.
