September 2012 Tour

I now have a few events for my September promotional tour with Amanda L. Davis. It will begin in the U.S. and then extend throughout Canada. Here is a link to the current schedule map - http://goo.gl/maps/jJCU

I will be adding many more events, so if you have a school or homeschool group that would like an author visit, please send an email to bryan (at) daviscrossing (dot) com.

This doesn't have anything to do with the post but I wanted to let you know. Spoilers alert!

Whenever I read a book, no matter how sad, I wouldn't cry. Sometimes I'd choke up but not a single tear made its way down my cheek while a book was in my hand. When Acacia died I didn't even cry, though that night I balled my eyes out. Then I read I Know Why the Angels Dance and for the first time I cried while reading a book. They were a mixture of joyful and sad tears but I just wanted you to know that your book was the first one that I've ever cried while reading.

I hope that means you liked it. :-)

It means you're a fantastic writer and you've managed to capture my heart like no other book has before, save for the bible. So yes, it does mean I liked it. In fact I LOVED it!

Thank you. :-)

Mr. Davis, I read on your Facebook page that you need help researching the physical characteristics of some of your dragon characters from the Dragons of Starlight series. I just checked Warrior, and it says that Magnar is "reddish-brown" and Arxad is "lighter brown with scarlet tones blended in". (From page 193, the scene wher Wallace and Elyssa are looking at scenes from the book.) Hope this helps!

really? I hope I'll be able to go. I live in Merrill, it's a couple hour drive from Grand Rapids, i think. I want to meet you! It's a bit weird, but after i read the Dragons in Your Midst series and the other 2, i felt like had grown closer to God.Does that sound weird to you?

Not weird at all. That was my goal in writing, to draw people closer to God. I hear that from many readers, and I'm thankful to God for working through my books.
