Year-long Book Giveaway Update

There are two new ways to get your name into the monthly drawing for the book giveaway. (See for contest details. I added the new information to the original post.) If you already have your name in the drawing, these tasks will allow you to get your name in additional times.

#1 - Post a 5-star review of any of my books on either,, or, and send the link to me by email - bryan (at) daviscrossing (dot) com. It has to be a review posted today or later. You may post as many reviews as you wish, but only one will qualify to give you another name in the drawing for this month. You may do this again in later months, but it has to be for a different book each time. Therefore, if you post a review in January, I will add your name once for the drawing. If you post a review in February for a different book, I will add your name again, and so on.

#2 - Go to a bookstore that has one of my books on the shelves. Have your photo taken at the shelf with the book in sight in the photo. Also, you need a story employee with you in the photo. The idea is to alert the bookstore employees about my books so they will know to tell customers about them. It is best to call ahead to make sure one of my books is in stock and to find out if an employee is allowed to participate. Email the photo to me and let me know if I have permission to post the photo on the blog and/or Facebook. Permission to post is not required in order to get your name in the drawing. Completing this task will get your name into the drawing three additional times. As with #1 above, this will count only once each month.

In response to your FB discussion about the excerpt from Warrior:
I agree with the others who said that Alaph wanted to teach Jason to value every life, but I also think he was showing Jason how to be faithful in the little things. After all, we cannot be expected to be faithful in the big things if we are not first faithful in the small.
