Book Update

I just passed the 90,000 word mark in my newest book. I had been calling it Time Echoes, but now I'm playing with Interfinity as the title. What do you think of that title?

Anyway, the basic storyline is complete, but it's still just skin and bones. Over the next month, I will be adding details, developing characters, and including some important foreshadowing, as well as polishing, polishing, polishing.

But, at the same time, I have three trips to take, and I'm moving my family to Tennessee. This will be a challenging month indeed.

90,000, that's terrific! I hope your word count isn't 100,000 or you'll end up in the abyss of cutting like I was! LOL

And my .02 about the titles is neither one grabs me, though Interfinity is more unique.

I hit 156,073 words today on my book. :)

I like both titles. I might choose Time Echoes because it'll "click" more in people's minds. It's mysterious, but not confusing. Interfinity may cause people to stop and think about it. "Interfinity? What's that?" On the other hand, it is unique. If you feel the title better represents your story, then go for it.

I've liked Time Echoes ever since I heard about the series. Interfinity would work, too, I guess, even if it isn't something you hear every day. The name may attract more attention.

I don't know.

I vote for Time Echoes. The other doesn't communicate anything to me so would not likely induce me to look any further.

Congratulations! Can't wait to read it! (Though I must say, I want to read Enoch's Ghost more!) Personally, I think Time Echoes is a more interesting title.

Hope everything is going well with your move. I actually forgot you were in the middle of relocating or I wouldn't have tagged you. But what's done is done. It's an easy one--8 things about you. Stop by my site if you get a chance.

I agree with Luke and Jason. Time Echoes seems more interesting- Interfinity reminds me of a Sci-Fi novel for some reason. At the same time, as they said, its unique, so it could draw more attention.

For people who have not read the series, the title "Interfinity" may be a more drawing.

Beyond the Reflection's Edge? Is that the new title? I like it...

Yes. That's the title we settled on. I'll be posting about it soon.
