Senator Obama - Either Stand Up or Step Down

I am adding my voice to many others who are demanding that Senator Obama prove that he is “a natural born Citizen” of the United States, as the Constitution requires as a qualification for president, and he must do so with conclusive documentary evidence.

To this date, he is fighting in court to keep his birth records from being made public. What is he trying to hide?

As many of you know, I'm not supporting Senator McCain for president, so this isn't an attempt to sway people in that direction. I'm just extremely concerned about the ramifications of electing a man who seems to be swindling the American people with a media-aided run for the White House while concealing his background and lack of necessary credentials.

Electing a man who might eventually prove to be constitutionally unqualified will have grave consequences, and electing a man who is actually hiding his past might well mean that we will have a usurper in the most powerful human office in the world, one who has evil motives and could spell disaster for our republic.

So, Senator Obama, we the people demand that you come clean, show official documentary evidence of your qualifications, or step down as the Democrat candidate for President of the United States.

Hi Bryan,

I've heard about this story too. The fact that his birth certificate is under seal in Hawaii does nothing to quell the suspicions that are out there. Obama even made a recent trip out to Hawaii to see his ailing grandmother, but little has been said about her, and his certificate was sealed at around the same time. It's hard not to say, something's up here.

Of course, this is just one of many odious things that surround Obama's background. I mean, how many people would willingly make a political alliance with a man (Bill Ayers) who planted bombs at police stations and the Pentagon, and later says he regrets he didn't do enough? And did Obama really manage to miss all of Jeremiah Wright's racist rantings at the pulpit?

The birth certificate is just #15,431 on the list of things the media is not interested in asking about Senator Obama.

Jason,

There is no doubt that the other issues you raise about Senator Obama are very troubling. He has so many ties to socialist, terrorists, and racists, everyone in our country should be aghast.

I disagree, however, that the birth records issue is #15,431. Whether or not a candidate is constitutionally qualified should be #1, and the mainstream media isn't saying anything about it.

Why is he refusing inspection of his records? Why is he fighting in court to make sure it all stays secret? These facts certainly make me extremely suspicious, but our media "journalists" seem to care only to investigate people who make negative remarks about their savior Obama.

You're right, it should be number one. I didn't mean #15,431 in importance, I was making a joke that it was one of just very many, many things that the media wouldn't bring up about Obama. Sorry for not being clearer.

Even though I am not an American Citizen, I am interested in this conversation. I just assumed that Obama was an American Citizen, so this is very interesting news.

Another thing, how was the birth certificate "sealed", is there some kind of legal protection on it? I am not sure if we are able to do this in Canada, but I *have* heard of this from time to time in the States.

Thanks

In most cases, states won't allow routine inspection of a person's private records without that person's permission. Some citizens are trying to circumvent that through the courts, because our Constitution requires that the president be a natural born citizen.

Senator Obama has refused to allow this inspection, so his actions are highly suspicious.

Hey Mr. Davis!

As someone who writes for a newspaper, the coverage on this election SICKENS me.

Obama's tatics also make me cringe. Someone within his campainge admitted that their intent is to humilate and belittle anyone who stands in their way.

Is this the voice of freedom?

I also hate how Obama tries to make it sound as though all the youth in America support him. I am seventeen (not old enough to vote but old enough to be affected by the election's outcome) and I can't stand the thought of that man as president.

I've been praying for mercy on our country all along.

As for this situation with the sealed birth certificate - why don't we all write letters to the editor? It's bound to catch someone's attention.

He's hiding it because he was born in Kenya His grandma and some other relative said that they watched him be born in Kenya, but what is the pressing about this nothing even though there is prof that he was born IN KENYA NOT HAWAII!!!
I guess what gets me most about this is the lack of news cover about it after all those relatives also taped it.

His birth certificate is viewable right on his website:

http://fightthesmears.com/articles/5/birthcertificate

But I suppose that's not good enough evidence, it is his website. Not to accuse him falsely, but content on one's own website is easily modifiable, so how far it stands as proof of anything... I don't know.

Shane,

The birth certificate that Senator Obama has been showing off on his website isn't the long-form vault birth certificate that proves origin of birth. He has refused access to the real one and is fighting in court to keep it from seeing the light of day.

Ok. Thanks for the correction. Just thought I'd point it out.
