Song of the Ovulum is Finished

I apologize for not posting here for so long. I have been working feverishly to finish Song of the Ovulum, book one in Children of the Bard, which is a follow-up series to Dragons in our Midst and Oracles of Fire.

Well, it's finally finished, and I think you'll love the new adventures. It's scheduled to come out on July 1. Maybe it will come a little earlier. We'll see.

For a preview, here is the prologue - http://www.dragonsinourmidst.com/Prologue.pdf

I am just wondering, after these 4 books will there be more in the series?

I might have to read all 8 books again, it's been years.

Goldarrow, I doubt it.

Guess you're not telling who the main characters are yet? By the set up o f this prologue...I'm guessing their kids? I can wait though :D

Stoked!

Nathan, no more clues for now. Sorry.

Loved the DIOM & oracles of fire series! So exciting there's going to be another series to go along with it, i've been missing all the characters and to read about them in even more adventures is going to be amazing! I want to be an author myself and these books are such an inspiration!

Prepared for another awesome book in an awesome series!
I have never had a favorite author but now Mr. Davis is at the top!

Thank you, McKenzie. You are very kind.

Gosh, July seems so incredibly far away. I just can't wait to read this.
Just like McKenzie ;) I was really hoping for a new book. I knew it couldn't just end! I can't wait to read the thrilling continuation of the Dragons in our Midst and Oracles of Fire series.

Oh yeah, I hope Sapphira is in this one! Otherwise I might just die :0P

That is certainly a cheerful proslouge;). I think prolouges that say that something is wrong and doesnt tell you exactly what are pretty cool. Of course, I like it when you have the whole book so you can get right to reading. *Pulls hair out in exasperation* By the way, great prolouge!;)

Bryan Davis said...

Thank you, Keesha.

I have a question for you. Why was Bonnie made an Oracle of Fire in the book "Bones of Makaidos". She never really accomplished much with the powers of an oracle. What were your motives? Im really excited about the Song of the Ovulum. If you can answer my question it would be great!
Thanks!

Bryan Davis said...

Bonnie's status as an Oracle of Fire was a spiritual one, which will be explained somewhat in Song of the Ovulum.

Hi this series is one of my favorites series so thanks to bryan davis but if you can could you please put song of the ovulum on the kindle this is why. I am in philadelphia in a camp helping a group of kids that are abused mentally and phisicly, they are also on tons of medication that they "need", and some have ADHD. Now I'm from california so this Sunday, The third, I am going back to california and there are no bookstores around so I can't buy the book from there so if you could, please put the book "song of the ovulum" on kindle so I can enjoy it on the plane ride ( its 5-6 hours long) thanks

Bryan Davis said...

I started reading these books last year and I'm halfway through Last of the Nephilim right now. I have a feeling I'll finish the last couple books before the next one in Children of the Bard comes out. I'm SO excited though. And I can re-read all the other books and really cement the story in my head!

Bryan Davis said...

Unknown, I'm glad you're enjoying them.
