To enter the monthly drawing, post the following links on
your Facebook wall or blog:
My website - http://www.daviscrossing.com/
My shopping page - http://www.daviscrossing.com/shopping.htm
My Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/BryanDavis.Fans
If you post this information, send me an email letting me
know – bryan
(at) daviscrossing (dot) com. Tell me your name and provide a link to the
posting, and you will be entered in the drawing.
At the end of each month through 2013, I will draw from all
those who have entered and will send the winner one of my books (winner’s choice
of book), autographed if so desired. The book will also include a vintage
bookmark from one of my earliest books. (See photos of bookmarks to the left.)
The names in the drawing will roll over to the next month,
and you will be able to add your name again by posting the same information the
next month. For example, if your name is in the drawing for January but you
don’t win, your name will automatically be in the drawing for February. If you
post the links in February and you let me know about your post, your name will
be entered in February’s drawing an additional time, giving you a better chance
to win. If you participate every month by posting the information each month,
you’ll have your name in the drawing twelve times for December’s drawing.
If you win, your winning entry will be taken out of the
drawing for the next month, but your other entries will remain. For example, if
you had three entries in the drawing for the month of March and you won that
month, your winning entry will be taken out, but your other two entries will
roll over into April’s drawing, and new entries may be added according to the
normal rules.
Also, if anyone orders a book from my shopping page, and
that buyer lets me know that your prompting brought about the order, your name
will be entered three additional times for that month, and those entries will
roll forward through the months as well.

Here are two more ways to add your name to the monthly drawing:
#1 - Post a 5-star review of any of my books on either Amazon.com, Christianbook.com, or BN.com, and send the link to me by email - bryan (at) daviscrossing (dot) com. It has to be a review posted today or later. You may post as many reviews as you wish, but only one will qualify to give you another name in the drawing for this month. You may do this again in later months, but it has to be for a different book each time. Therefore, if you post a review in January, I will add your name once for the drawing. If you post a review in February for a different book, I will add your name again, and so on.
#2 - Go to a bookstore that has one of my books on the shelves. Have your photo taken at the shelf with the book in sight in the photo. Also, you need a story employee with you in the photo. The idea is to alert the bookstore employees about my books so they will know to tell customers about them. It is best to call ahead to make sure one of my books is in stock and to find out if an employee is allowed to participate. Email the photo to me and let me know if I have permission to post the photo on the blog and/or Facebook. Permission to post is not required in order to get your name in the drawing. Completing this task will get your name into the drawing three additional times. As with #1 above, this will count only once each month.

Notes:
The contest is open to U.S. and non-U.S. residents with
one qualification. If a non-U.S. resident wishes to participate, he or she,
upon winning a book, must agree to pay the difference in shipping charges
between what it would cost to ship to a U.S. resident versus what it would cost
to ship to the non-U.S. winner. That extra charge must be paid through Paypal
within three days of the drawing. If a potential non-U.S. resident wants to
know in advance how much that cost would be, that person should email me the
shipping location and which book he or she is interested in, and I will respond
with the information. If a non-U.S. winner doesn’t pay the extra shipping
charges within three days, I will conduct a new drawing for that month. U.S. winners
will not have to pay any shipping charges.
As an alternative for a non-U.S. winner, I can send a book to a U.S. address at no charge, and the winner can arrange to have it shipped to his or her country.
As an alternative for a non-U.S. winner, I can send a book to a U.S. address at no charge, and the winner can arrange to have it shipped to his or her country.
The winners of the drawings will be notified by email, and
their names will be announced on my blog or Facebook page if the winners permit
the public announcement. If the winner does not respond to my notification email within 72 hours, that person's name will go back into the drawing pool, and I will choose a different winner for that month.
You must email me each month to get a new entry into the
drawing. Notifications given to me in any other way will not qualify.
Please make your Facebook or blog postings as public as
possible based on what you and/or your parents allow in the security settings.
Creating a new blog or Facebook page just for this contest
is not allowed. The blog or page must have been in place and active before the
start of this contest.
You will not receive additional entries for posting the
information in multiple places. For example, if you post the information on
Facebook and on a blog during January, you will receive only one entry that
month. Still, I would appreciate the multiple posts.
If you don’t post the information on Facebook or on a blog,
you may still be entered in the contest through the book purchase option.
If you buy a book yourself, that does qualify you to receive
the three additional entries.
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or
administered by Facebook or Blogger.com.
Participants are providing information to Bryan Davis and
not to Facebook or Blogger.com. All information will be kept private and not
shared with any third party.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I love these books!!! You should make a movie for the raising dragons series! PLEASE
Caroline, a movie for Raising Dragons is actually in the works. I don't know all the details, but it'll happen eventually. :) It's pretty exciting!

Mr. Davis, in response to your question on FB today:
I'm reading Deadlock by Robert Liparulo and Destined to Reign by Joseph Prince. Both are really good. (And I'm waiting for my brother to read his copy of Masters and Slayers so that I can finally read it!)
-Tracey
Thanks for the update, Tracey!
No problem. What are you reading, if I may ask?
-Tracey
Reading and editing Exodus Rising. I don't have time for pleasure reading.
I sort of suspected that. Well, all your readers certainly appreciate the level of excellence in your writing, so it pays off. :)

Dear Mr. Davis,
I have a question about the contest. Using my Christmas/Birthday money I bought ALL of your books. If someone wins could they pre-order a book that hasn't been in print? For example the next book after Trough the Mouth of Elijah.
Winners will have to choose from books that are already published.
Mr. Davis, do Amanda's books count? I've always wanted to read them. I'm so excited about the contest!
Shiloh, I don't know what you mean by "count."
Sorry that was kind of confusing after I re-read it :) I mean if someone wins the contest can they choose one of Amanda's books for their "prize" I guess you would call it.
Shiloh, I don't know yet if I will have access to her books at any given time, so I can't say right now.
Okay that's fine, thanks anyway. I just wanted to say thank you for writing so fervently on all your books. They have really impacted my life in an amazing way ...for lack of a better word.
You're welcome. I'm glad my books have been helpful. :-)
I absolutely love your books Mr. Davis.
I've started reading them last year (dragons in our midst) and I'm up to bones of Makaidos. They are fantastic books.
I was reading aloud to my mum and sister last of the nephlim (a chapter or something) and the part where it says something along the lines of "broad casting on One O Seven Point Nine" My mum thought I just added that as we listen to a Christian radio station called 107.9 life Fm :). So we all thought that was cool.
Can't wait to read more of your books.
Thank you. I'm glad you got a kick out of the radio frequency. I hope you continue to enjoy my books.
Mr. Davis,
I made a blog website after the contest began, but I didn't make it with the contest in mind. Would I still qualify for the contest if I posted something on there now?
Thank you!
Where is your blog?
Mr. Davis,
I literally just found out about your contest on twitter at midnight...however at about 7pm I bought Through the Mouth of Elijah...does it still count even though I didn't know about the contest till about 5 he's later?
Mr.Davis,
I posted a five-star review on BN.com for your book 'The Mouth of Elijah.' My post is the really long one that was posted on June 17th.
I need to know who you are to give you credit for the review. Please email the details to bryan (at) daviscrossing (dot) com.
So as far getting an extra drawing for the contest...if you buy one (or more) does it have to be off your site?
Paige, yes, from my shopping page. It's the only way I have to verify purchases.
