The Bones of Makaidos in Hard Cover

I now have copies of The Bones of Makaidos in hard cover with a vinyl-style coating. You can order them at this link. (Scroll down to the hardcover option.)

Many readers have said that this is their favorite book in either dragons series, so I assumed some would want it in a more durable format. These copies are from the third printing, which means they include a couple of extra sentences clarifying Bonnie's role as an Oracle, and the dragon family tree at the front is clearer than in previous printings.

This would be a great gift for readers who love the series and this book in particular. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Do you think that the other books in the series might get a hardcover version?

They are all available in hard cover.

Do any of the other HC books have any additional stuff or clarifications like this one?

With the exception of Last of the Nephilim, all the other hardcover books are the same as their paperback counterparts.

The first printing of Last of the Nephilim had an erroneous description of the story on the back cover. Later editions corrected that, and the hardcover version has the correction.

Is the available soft cover of Nephilim have the corrected stuff?

Anonymous, after the first printing, the paperback version of Last of the Nephilim is correct. If you order from me, you will get the correct version, whether hardcover or paperback.

If you're in the store, you can tell if it's the latest version by looking at the back. If the first words in the description say, "The Last of the Nephilim," then it's the old version. If it says, "Last of the Nephilim," then it's the new one.

I just saw this post. I have the first printing of Bones and wanted to order another copy from you in order to get the newer stuff. If I read correctly, even the softcover of Bones has the additional content and the clearer chart at the front (when ordered from you)?

Darren,

I have both softcover editions available, updated and original. I'm trying to get rid of my remaining supply of the original edition, so they are on sale at a lower price on my website.

I have a special link for ordering the updated softcover version with the additional material and clearer diagram at the normal price: http://www.daviscrossing.com/TBOM3.html

If that doesn't make sense, please ask further questions.

Ok, so if I use the link you provided, I can order the soft cover updated edition of TBOM, then just use the normal link for the Nephilim soft cover, and both will get me the latest, correct? Thanks again for answering!!

Darren, that is correct.

I shall take care of that tonight then. Thank you!! Oh, we met briefly at ICRS last year. I couldn't make it this year...I manage a Christian Book Store in Indiana.

Darren,

Please send me an email. I would like to know where in Indiana you are. I am thinking about visiting some schools in the state.

Well, the sad news is that our store (The Carpenter's Son Parable store in Lafayette), is closing. There is, however, a Family Christian store in Lafayette, and I know the DM of the Indianapolis area stores as well. I would be glad to put you in touch.
