Passion, the Fire that Cannot be Quenched

I recently gave a speech at the Montrose Christian Writers' Conference entitled "Passion, the Fire that Cannot be Quenched." If you would like to hear it, click here. I hope it is inspirational for all you writers out there.

If you are inclined to comment about it, feel free to do so.

I loved the speech. Humerous and passionate at the same time.

Thank you for posting this! That is one of the most (if not the most) helpful talks on writing I've heard, so I'm glad to be able to listen to it again and share it with others.

Bryan - I am not a writer but my 16 year old grand daughter is and she has convinced me to participate in a weekly writing challenge. To prepare us, she asked us to listen to your speech (she heard you at Montrose, PA and was very inspired.) I really appreciate your instructions on what it takes to be a writer. I am passionate about the Lord and all that He has done and is doing in my life but am not sure that writing is the avenue He wants me to travel. But, I am praying and I will apply your words of wisdom, and see what comes out of me. Maybe nothing, then again the Lord has done more with much less in my life. Thank you again. Pat

Thank you for the note, Pat. May God lead you clearly as you seek to serve Him through writing.
