OK, so I get 30 points for each of the three places that I put this video,or 30 points for all of the places?

For the Abbotsford stop is the dinner only for those 20 people?
The last two times on that list are also for the public?

Thanks

Bryan Davis said...

Katie,

It's 30 points for each placement of the video for a maximum of 90 points.

Jessica,

All events are open to the public with the exception of school events. Most schools, however, will let you come to their assemblies if you call and ask. I have never heard of one turning down a request. The dinner with the 20 reading award winners will likely be closed to others.

Sorry, this question has nothing to do with the Tour, but I was wondering if you could suggest a good college and/or a good major for someone who wants to write. I kind of plan on having some other career first, but I haven't picked a major. So if you have any ideas on what might be helpful for a future writer, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Rachael

Bryan Davis said...

Anonymous,

Any major that requires a lot of reading and/or writing will help you as a future writer.

If you want to teach, then English or literature would be a good major. Media? Then journalism or communications.

It really depends on what you want your first occupation to be.

Dear Mr. Davis,
I think the tour sounds like a really neat event. Unfortunately I'm not near the west coast. I was wondering if you're ever going to be out west in the Colorado New Mexico area. I know you're very busy but I was just wondering.

I am so going to try to go to the signing in Abbotsford!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAAAY!!!!!!

So how does the sales and signing session work? ... or are you going to make me go to one to find out? :)

:)Ian(:

Bryan Davis said...

Ian,

You come to the talk, listen to us for a while, and then we sit at tables where you come and buy books. We sign them for you. If you brought your own books already purchased, just stand in line with the other people and present your books. We'll sign those, too.

Do you have any specific questions?

Bryan Davis said...

Lightbearer,

I'm driving through Colorado to get to the tour, but I haven't planned any events there or in New Mexico.

I might come to Colorado Springs or Denver next summer. We'll see.

Ooooooh! The schedule says Sunday, 6-8 pm, in Medford. Church is from 6 to 7, so I would likely have to miss most of it. . .

Bryan Davis said...

Navybro,

I noticed that time a few minutes before you commented. I think a lot of people will have trouble with it.

I emailed our scheduler. I'll post on the blog if we have any changes.

Hmmm... I live in Auburn, about an hour away from Seattle, and about 45 minutes away from Enumclaw. I hope to be there!

Also, is there a way to join your forums without an e-mail address?

Bryan Davis said...

Anonymous,

I'll look forward to meeting you.

I require an email address to join the forum because sometimes I have need to contact forum members.
