Trivia: Sometimes research involves more than simply looking at something as it exists today. For this story I often had to find out how things were thirty years ago. In the photo, you'll see a barrier wall between a railroad track and a neighborhood. The wall looked fairly new, so I thought maybe it hadn't been there more than ten years or so. That detail was important for my story.

News: After only a couple of days, there are already 13 reviews of Beyond the Reflection's Edge on Amazon.com. Twelve reviews gave it five stars. The single four-star review had very positive comments, so I'm excited about the response so far. And it's still a few days before the book's official release date.
