A couple of questions have popped up that I will address here. When it comes to getting photos at bookstores, you may go to multiple stores at the same chain. For example, you can use the Barnes & Noble in one part of town and a different Barnes & Noble in another part of town. When getting the name of the employee, the first name is sufficient.
You may report reviews that you have already posted, even if they were for another contest, but if they posted before May 6, they are worth two points instead of three.
When the quizzes begin, it's crucial to have a final release copy of the book instead of an advance copy. I will sometimes refer to a specific page number or even specific words in the final release, and the advance version won't be accurate.
We have eleven contestants so far who have emailed me with their contact information. Some have posted that they want to participate, but they haven't emailed me yet. The email is essential.
Only one person, Magma, has emailed me anything that has counted toward points. The other participants had better get going. Magma has a big jump with 14 posted reviews, counting for 28 points, since she posted them before the contest began.
Let the race begin!

Hmmm... is my blog public enough? I've writen a few reviews, but a few will take a few days before they're approved. WOW... 14 reviews!?!?!? Where could you go to put that many?!?!?!?
Elliot,
Your blog is public enough. Public means that a person can search for it and find it without being a member.
I can post a review of the book on my blog? Cool! I'll go do that.
Sapphira
28 points?!?!?!?! I'd better get moving!
But I havent read the book, so I can't write reviews.
Craig,
Read the book. That's the solution.
Don't worry. Once you start reading, you won't want to put it down. It will go quickly.
I just posted a review reccomending the book to people. I have yet to read the book, but I told people to get it anyway because it will definitely be an awesome book because (1) your books are always awesome (2) I have been reading some really good reviews about it. So does my review count even if I have yet to read the book? If not, let me know. You can check out my blog at sapphiraadi.blogspot.com.
Sapphira
Sapphira,
I assume you will eventually read it, so when you do, let me know, and I will count that post. But, after reading it, if you do a normal review on your blog, I won't be able to count that one, because that would make two reviews on the same site.
wait....what?
do you mean two reviews on the same site by the same person won't be counted?
or that each site can only have one review?....cause that last one would be really hard with amazon, borders, b&n, etc.....just trying to get it clarified.
Magma,
If you have posted a review on a site or your blog, I will count it once. If you post another review on the same site or blog, I won't count it the second time.
We can have many participants post reviews on the same site, such as Amazon, but I won't count multiple reviews on the same site by the same person.
I hope that's clear enough.
Clear as crystal, Mr. Davis!
thanks for elaborating!
I would like to join the contest. I will e-mail my info to you.
ok, i did a review on Amazon!!! yay... Mr. Davis, it's called "Bestest Book EVER!!!" (literally, lol).... just so ya know:)
Bookworm and all other participants, please email your reports to me. It's easier for me to keep track that way.
